Pigment Foil (Coating Foil)
Pigment foil is a kind of foil that contains metallic powder in white, black and other colors. It can produce a design with a depth such as that produced by silkscreen printing; furthermore, compared with direct printing by silkscreen, it is applied instantly under completely dry conditions at high temperature, so that it can be applied to surfaces on which direct printing is difficult to conduct.
This foil has high resistance to weather, heat, abrasion and chemicals, as well as excellent screening performance. There are various types according to the surface texture — glossy, mat and a metallic type that contains metallic powder, which can be selected for fashionable designs on large surfaces of home appliances, automobile parts and cosmetic containers.
